HOME EQUITY LINE OF CREDIT

Our Home Equity Line of Credit gives you access to a line of credit and flexibility of payments for any financing need. Draw from a pre-established credit limit for any purpose, from home improvement to financing college. The variable rate allows you to take advantage of falling interest rates. * There are typically no costs associated with the closing of either a Home Equity Line of Credit, or a Fixed Rate Second Mortgage loan. The bank will attempt to use your most recent real estate tax bill's assessment amount for valuation purposes. We take 75% of the stated assessed value, minus the remaining balance of any first mortgage. If the resulting amount is not sufficient for your purposes, you may have an appraisal performed, which costs between $300 and $375. Additionally, the bank does not pay for recording discharges on paid mortgages, other than for the mortgage that this new loan is replacing (if any), recording of Trust and/or Trustee Certificate documents including mortgage modifications with an intervening trust, or subordination, etc. The Registry of Deeds charges $76 to record each discharge or subordination. The bank does not prepare, or arrange for the preparation of these other discharges, nor does the bank pay for the preparation/recording of a new deed for the changing of title. As a condition of the loan, we will require evidence of adequate homeowner's insurance.
